Harm’s Way is a proof-of-concept short film designed to introduce the world, tone, and investigative engine of the larger television series.

The film follows veteran investigator Lukas Parker, a fictionalized representation of real-life Treasury and Homeland Security investigator Erik Rosenblatt, and his team as they pursue a real-world case involving a terror plot in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The story is based on true events.

What begins as a search for answers becomes something more complicated: a story about perception, bias, instinct, and the danger of becoming too certain about the people we investigate.

Blending financial crime investigation with a boots-on-the-ground thriller, Harm’s Way is a contained first glimpse at a larger series about people willing to step into dangerous and morally uncertain situations in pursuit of the truth and what happens when the truth refuses to fit the story they expected.
