I am a Latino multi-hyphenate. A product of an Ecuadorian surrealist-novelist father, Peruvian social worker mother, and a lifetime infection of Catholic guilt. Exploding with a taste for the gritty and the magical, the seedy and the fantastic. I tell human stories, though not always in a human way.

I was raised in a very tough part of town, and that kind of upbringing gave me more life experience than I wanted. But I got it. Taught myself escapism through art early on and still fan the flames of that wonder, every day.

I've written and directed multiple award-winning short films, nationally aired television commercials and music videos, and screenplays that have been recognized at the top of the industry.

Through People Pictures, I’ve been the producer behind countless projects. From scrappy web campaigns to films with major actors, I’ve run productions on both shoestring and high-dollar budgets. No matter the scale, I know how to get us across the finish line. We make the day. We get it done. And we walk away with work we’re proud of.

Because if we don’t, what’s the point?
